Why Us? What You Need To Do

Important Deadlines

Why Us?

The new FAA Compliance Requirements now mandate that individuals and businesses holding FAA certificates with a permanent address overseas must designate a U.S. Agent for Service under 14 CFR Part 3, Subpart C.

Applicable Parties in FAA Aviation Regulations

This applies to FAA-Certified Individuals (Pilots, cabin crew, or mechanics), Aircraft Owners & Operators, Aviation Businesses, Flight Schools & Training Organizations.

What You Need To Do

To comply with this regulation, affected certificate holders must appoint a U.S. Agent for Service - a designated representative authorized to receive official FAA correspondence, legal notices, emergency orders, and other critical communications on their behalf. This ensures timely delivery of essential documents and continued compliance with FAA regulations.

Important Deadlines

New Applicants: Must designate a U.S. Agent by April 2, 2025 to receive FAA certification.

Existing Certificate Holders: Must comply by July 8, 2025 to maintain their FAA certification.

F.A.Q

What is a U.S. Agent for Service?

A U.S Agent for Service is an entity or an adult (individual who is 18 or older) with a U.S. address who a certificate, rating, or authorization holder or applicant designates to receive FAA service on their behalf.

How do I know if I need a U.S. Agent for Service?

This new regulation applies to individuals who:
(a) Do not have a U.S. physical address of record on file with the FAA;
(b) Have a foreign address of record on file with the FAA; and
(c) Hold or apply for certificates, ratings, or authorizations under part 47 (Aircraft Registration), 61 (Pilots, Flight Instructors and Ground Instructors), 63 (Flight Crewmembers other than pilots), 65 (Mechanics), 67 (FAA Medical Certificates) or 107 (UAS, Drones).

What happens if I don’t respect the deadlines?
For Existing Certificate Holders:
  • Loss of Privileges: Although your FAA certificate remains valid, you will be unable to exercise its privileges, which may prevent you from flying or operating under FAA regulations until a U.S. Agent for Service is designated.
  • Inactive Aircraft Registration: If you own an aircraft, your registration certificate will not be valid for operational use until a U.S. Agent for Service is assigned. While the registration itself remains active, it cannot be used to operate the aircraft until compliance requirements are met.
  • For New Applicants:
  • Certification Delays: You will be unable to complete any FAA certification process until a U.S. Agent for Service is officially listed on the relevant application form.
  • How do I assign you as my U.S. Agent for Service?

After registering with us, you’ll receive clear instructions in your personal portal on how to officially designate us as your U.S. agent with the FAA. Our streamlined process ensures you have all the information and steps you need to meet FAA requirements easily.

    How much does it cost?

We offer several payment plans from 59$ to 139$ a year, tailored to your needs.

How do I get my documents?

We will upload a digital version of your documents to your secure portal within one business day of receiving it at your new U.S. address. You will then be able to choose whether you want the physical document to be shredded and disposed of, or if you want it to be forwarded to your address abroad.

    Is my subscription renewed automatically?

Yes. We will advise you by email two weeks prior to the renewal of your subscription, and you will be able to choose to ask us to not renew your subscription. In the absence of a written confirmation, your subscription will renew automatically.
